New City Resources Inc., a Canadian company established in 1994, is a member of the N C R Group - the manufacturing arm of the Ling Kee Group operating in Hong Kong, Shanghai, London, New York, Abbotsford, Bowmanville, Toronto and Vancouver.

The Company is operating in its own N C R Industrial Centre with a factory space of 90,000 square feet and a usable area of 470,000 square feet. Unusually, it started with R & D with a view to searching for a new way of producing an eco-protecting panel material to replace the wood-based boards such as plywood, MDF, OSB, particleboard. After three years of intensive research, N C R succeeded in inventing the 400% environmental Polyboard which eliminates polluting plastic waste to save precious trees and is constantly reusablem, 100% recyclable and produces no waste during its manufacture and in use. Polyboard is waterproof, weatherproof, decay-proof, damp-proof, soundproof, leakage-proof, corrosion-resistant, termite-repellent, fungi-repellent, UV-resistant, freeze-thaw-resistant and forklift ramming-resistant. It is everlasting, indestructible, non-toxic and odourless, outperforming all other panel materials in all applications - indoors, outdoors, underground and underwater.

NCR takes pride in the fact that the forklift-ramming resistant Polyboard scuff-liners and wall panels have become the norm for fitting and retrofitting trailers and containers, widely recognized as the "Lifetime Protector for Trailers and Containers worldwide". Polyboard, waterproof and anti-moisture, is also known as the "Saviour of Hardwood Floors" that prevents hardwood floor from blackening, buckling or curling up. It is also exclusively used as the resilient and waterproof core for hardwood and laminate floors.
